As Project Manager, have worked with clients, ranging from retail, commercial, government, insurance, banks to financial institutes. Member of Project Management and IT Professions groups in IBM.

 

SAP implementation –

Have managed implementing a new banking and operational processes.  Saw the projects through their entire life cycle from scoping, proof of concept, development, sandbox, UAT to delivery for Nationwide Building Society and Diageo international across four continents.

 

Storage – SAN, SVC and XIV

Have managed full life cycle of implementing new storage solutions for diverse customers including Reuters, BMA and Sainsbury’s.

 

Transformation, Transitions and Data-centre migration

Have managed data-warehousing, system audits, installation, VMware implementation, consolidation, migrations, roll outs and training at various banks, retail customers and government departments including State Street Bank, Dixons Group, DEFRA and Friends Life.

 

 

Technical Account Manager

Worked alongside my customers to make sure they make the best use of their IT investment, facilitate speedy problem resolution, assist with smooth implementation of x-Series servers & blades and consulted them on “Integrated Racking Solution” for enhanced cooling.

Typical areas of responsibility included, proof of concept, testing, bench marking, server management, IT audit, datacenter migration and problem resolution for various banks and retail customers including Morgan Stanley and John Lewis.

 

December 97 – April 2002 :-      American Express Ltd and IBM

Senior Support Engineer, in charge of IT services at American Express’s London offices.

Initiated “Executive Solutions (EMEA)” to deliver American Express’s “Black Card” equivalent of superior IT service to senior members of the company – Presidents, SVPs and selected VPs.

Ø      IBM - Committee member of the Capital Club, helping to organise events for colleagues in the Greater London area. (2010 - To present)

Ø      Civilian Instructor for Air Training Corps (ATC). By working with local community and schools, have helped cadet numbers rise from 20 to over 70. (2009 – To present)
